Noah is the first of the two boys to fall victim to the Chicken Pox - stay posted as Luke due to get them in the next 10 - 21 days - Not that Noah is even aware that he has them at the mo - brave little soldier!!

Google street view missed me at my front window taking a picture of the Google car (I blogged that picture last July) - but it did manage to pick up the old settee lying in our driveway, making us look like right tramps.

We said goodbye to the piano today when our nice, shiny, new one arrived.

A Very Christmassy Day

On Thursday had the day off work and was entertained by Luke's Nursery Nativity Play in the morning followed by the panto at the Opera house in the afternoon. A sure way to get you feel'n Christmassy.

1 Year Check Up

Had our first annual Diabetic check up last week. Everyone was pretty pleased. Luke's HBa1c was 7.9 (target was 7.5). We treated ourseves to a few Iron Man figures and a Pizza Hut.

Credit to him, he was the one on Sunday who spotted his jelly didn't have the blue label for no added sugar.

Baptist Mens Fishing

It was the Baptist Men's Fishing competition today. If you want any tips or tactics, best asking James or Joel.

Wee bit old and wee bit young

Was very excited to get a very shiny new Kenwood mixer for my birthday (thats how I know Im old), but was also very excited about 3 packets of Star Wars Trump cards as well (thats how I know I am still young really!). Also, note the homemade birthday cake, complete with diabetic chocolate and sugar free sweets. I know I'm spoilt.
