holidays nearly over and the summer has only begun!!

Alison and me
Will be back at school on Monday and I realise I get no
sympathy with this fact - but the good weather seems to only be starting
just in time for me to be back in the mobile classroom sweating it out!

Spending my last few days of freedom catching up with as many friends as
possible!!

Headed east to Medicine Hat

After Mum and Dad headed home, the Thompson clan headed
east on a road trip to Medicine Hat to spend some time with
Dave Stacey and Caleb which was great. Nice to catch up after all
this time! Thanks again for the hospitality!!

Believe it or not this brings us to the end of the holiday shots - I'm sure
you are glad!!

It's the Calgary STAAAAAAAMPEEEEEDE! Yeehaw

In Calgary we spent a day at the stampede which was great
as I've always heard about the infamous Calgary Stampede
and now I can say that I've been there. It was kid's day so there
was a Barney show and Luke was in awe the whole time - see his face below!

Then when the show was over we went to the side of the stage and Barney gave
Luke 'five' and he stared at his hand for ages after - a very proud moment for him
i think!

Either this mounty was very big or we are very small - actually I think it was both


After we had tea we took our seat for the chuck wagon races - then there was a huge
show with singing, dancing and fireworks - very impressive - unfortunately the battery
ran out on the camera so we only have video footage of the show!

A Break from the holiday photos!

I'm sure you will be glad to see there is a break from the

It was a beautiful day - beautiful bride, service, music, speeches and meal
