Its Spring!

Had to go back into hospital with Luke on Sunday. This time we got to go to infectious diseases ward for a few days. Got out on Tuesday afternoon with pin pricks in most veins, but much better ... he's a braver man then me. A big thanks to family in times like these ... ps. sorry for passing on the bug!

In the spirit of Easter, new life and spring ... the tiny vegetable seeds I planted two weeks are now little tiny lettuce seedlings. My first Alan Titchmarsh experiment .... very exciting (for me anyway).

Easter tummy bug

So much for avoiding easter eggs and chocolate ... Luke has ended up with a tummy bug and we haven't stopped giving him sips of coke and sugary drinks. Spent last night in casulty to get a drip as everything kept being vomitted back up ... and the blood sugars kept going down. Got out of A&E about 4am, but had to call in to the 24hr Tesco for a Ben10 watch for the brave soldier. Now on the road to recovery and lapping up the coke and sympathy.

Pancake Tuesday!

Despite a few burnt fingers, some delicious pancakes were on the menu tonight, served up by the cousins.

This is us treating ourselves to Papa Brown's on Friday. Of course Duck was there as well.

Coming soon ... from a womb near you ...

We are pleased to announce that baby Thompson is 12 weeks old and by the scan yesterday is very active and doing well!

Luke seems happy enough with the news of the impending arrival and has already chosen two names - Buster for a boy and Guster for a girl, so we are very happy that we don't have to worry about making that big decision!!!

Claire is due 08/08/08 but with such a cool due date there is no way the baby will arrive on time!!

Leah out on the town

Luke was finding it a bit hard to share the limelight tonight! If the camera came out it was hard to actually see Leah as Luke was so determined to fill the whole shot!! He had strict guidelines - I was NOT allowed to call Leah 'Darling' but he was happy enough to let me call her 'Sweetheart'!! But all in all he was very smitten with her and very excited to have seen her - as we all are!! hope she sleeps well tonight after her night out on the tiles!

Our First Glimpse of Baby Leah

Since Dermo has his pictures of Leah up - we needed to put our picture of her up too. (even if it is a bit out of focus) She is the cutest thing ever - Such a beautiful baby. By the way Dermo - I got to feed her a least a few hours before you! - I WIN!

Master Luke

His dad's pretty mean with the old lightsaber too!

New Years Constitutional '08

This years walk was at Blackhead. We missed Dave & Cara though ... not sure what lame excuse they came up with.

Fat Face Dummy

Some ways to entertain yourself while at the sales.

(Luke is being the dummy in the Fat Face shop window here... hence the title. I'm not just slagging off my son.)

Some Christmas poses

Who do you want to be like when you grow up?

Just needs to practice sticking his tongue out when he's concentrating.

Thanks for the drums Dermo!!
